The Rocky Allen Showgram took their show on the road to Anchor Golfland on Route 10 East in Whippany, New Jersey for the "The Drive For Dad" Father's Day Live Broadcast on Monday, June 11th.

The guys asked contestants to hit Onions with a golf ball, to qualify to win a 2007 Silver Lexus IS-250 from Warnock Automotive!

 2007 WPLJ’S THE ROCKY ALLEN  “DRIVE FOR DAD” CONTEST RULES           

1. It’s The Rocky Allen “Drive for Dad” Contest.  The Rocky Allen Showgram is Broadcasting Live from Anchor Golfland, Route 10, East in Whippany, New Jersey on Monday, June 11, 2007, 3pm-7pm.

2.  Rain Date: Wednesday, June 13, 2007. 

3. Contestants MUST be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license to participate. No purchase necessary.

4. Each participating contestant will have THREE (3) chances to take a Wack at “Onions” on the driving range.  If you hit “Onions”, you qualify to win a 2007 Warnock Lexus IS250, 6 speed manual transmission, Tungsten Pearl (Silver) with black interior, fully loaded.

5. Contest will run from 4pm-6:30pm on Monday, June 11, 2007.

6. Winner MUST be present to win Grand Prize.

7. The Grand Prize: Warnock 2007 Lexus IS250, 6 speed manual transmission, Tungsten Pearl (Silver) with black interior, fully loaded – Vehicle Value: $35,000.  Total Prize Value:  $35,000.

8. WPLJ is not responsible for miss hits.

9. No more than one (1) Winner per household will be accepted.

10. Anyone who won a prize in the last 30 days is not eligible to participate until the 30-day waiting period is over. 

11. By participating is this contest, listener consents to the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice for promotional and/or advertising purposes in connection with this contest.

12. Employees of ABC, Inc., The Walt Disney Company, WPLJ-FM Radio, Anchor Golfland, Warnock Automotive Group, its clients or associated agencies, vendors and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.

13. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes in conjunction with said prize.  Any additional costs related to the prize incurred, as a result of accepting said prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.

Winners are responsible for all motor vehicle and/or registration costs.

All winners MUST take delivery of the said vehicle within three (3) weeks of  winning.

Winning vehicle is pre-selected by Warnock Automotive Group and  WPLJ;  no upgrades, substitutions, additions, deletions etc. of options  allowed.

14. Winner’s eligibility must be proved in person with proper identification: Valid Driver’s License, State ID, Social Security, Birth Certificate, Passport, etc.

15. WPLJ reserves the right to refuse the awarding of said prize to anyone whose entry was based on “inside information”.

16. All prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value; no substitutions are permitted.

17. Contest limited to residents of NY, NJ and CT.  Void where prohibited.

18. All decisions of WPLJ-FM Radio are final.

19. WPLJ reserves the right to amend the rules at any time.

20. WPLJ may not be held responsible for any technical difficulties.

21. The re-sale or auction of WPLJ Complimentary prizes will result in disqualification for all future WPLJ Contests.

20. By accepting a prize, each winner releases WPLJ, its licensee, and their parent,            subsidiary, affiliated, and related companies, agents, employees, officers, shareholders, suppliers and retailers and their advertising, contest and production companies and agencies from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense, including without limitation property damage, personal injury and/or death, arising out of playing the “THE ROCKY ALLEN “DRIVE FOR DAD” contest or the acceptance, ownership or use of prizes.

21. Any changes to the contest rules will be announced on WPLJ and/or posted on the WPLJ Website www.plj.com within a reasonable time prior to their taking effect.

22. These rules are in addition to, and complement, any rules said or posted that govern contests on WPLJ.  In the event of any discrepancy between these rules and the station general contest rules as posted or otherwise disseminated, these rules shall supersede.
