Staten Island Homefront is collecting all different items for our troops and K-9's serving our country. Shampoo, moputhwash, creams, feminine products, shaving cream, disposable cameras, stamps, international phone cards, coffee, tea, fruit snacks, pringles, pretzels, fruit cups, cookies, crackers, batteries, word search & crossword puzzle game books, SILLY STRING, doggie bones, flea shampoo, gold bond cream, etc. You can drop off any items to Transfer City USA 458 Midland Avenue Tuesdays 10:00-5:30, Wednesdays-Saturdays 10:00-6. Location: New York Metropolitan Area
From May 3 to May 10, the National Association of Letter Carriers in conjunction with the United States Postal Service, will be collecting non-perishable food items like canned meats and fish, canned soup, juice, pasta, vegetables, cereal and rice to help families in need in our community.

Just bring a food donation to your local Post Office between May 3 and May 10 and the NALC / USPS will make sure it's delivered to local food banks or pantries. Please do not include items that have expired or those in glass containers.
